AI budgeting apps in 2026, and which ones work in Pakistan

Updated

Most lists of the best AI budgeting apps are written for the US, and several of the apps on them can't be downloaded in Pakistan at all. This guide looks at the AI budgeting apps people ask about: what the AI actually does, whether the app is in Pakistan's App Store, whether it works with rupees and Pakistani banks, and what it costs. Facts about each app come from its own website and store listing, checked on the date shown at the bottom.

The short answer

  • In Pakistan, you want an AI app you can actually download here, that understands rupees and, ideally, Urdu, and that doesn't depend on linking a US bank.
  • Jayb: an AI budgeting app and money manager you can use on any phone or computer through the web. Free. Jayb AI takes voice or text in English or Urdu, records and changes your money for you, and reads receipts, statements, screenshots and Excel files.
  • MyHisaab: AI expense tracking over WhatsApp, with an iPhone app, in Urdu and English. Rs 2,499 one-time on its website.
  • Kepto: a free website that reads PDF and Excel statements from Pakistani banks and wallets and sorts the transactions.
  • Rocket Money, Monarch, Cleo and Copilot: well-known AI money apps, but none of them is in Pakistan's App Store. Monarch says it's available only in the US and Canada, and Copilot supports only US accounts.

Side by side

"Not stated" means the app's own pages don't say, not that it can't. "Pakistan App Store" is whether the app can be found in Apple's Pakistan store.

What to check before you choose

  • Can you download it here? Several popular AI money apps aren't in Pakistan's App Store.
  • Does it need a bank link? Most international apps connect to US, Canadian or European banks, so in Pakistan you'd be left typing everything yourself.
  • Rupees and lakhs, and Urdu, the way people here actually talk about money.
  • What the AI really does: answering questions is useful, but doing the work (recording, fixing, reading your statements) saves the most time.
  • Price in rupees, or free.

Where Jayb fits

Jayb was made for exactly that gap. You don't link a bank: you tell Jayb AI what you spent, by voice or text, in English or Urdu, or send it a screenshot of your Easypaisa, JazzCash or bank app and it adds what's missing after you confirm. It understands amounts like 2 hazar or 1.5 lakh, keeps budgets from your payday, tracks udhaar, and answers questions with the exact transactions behind every figure. It's free on the web, and Android and iPhone apps are coming soon.
