Jayb

Terms of service

Last updated 7 October 2026

By using Jayb, you agree to these terms. They're short and in plain words.

What Jayb is

Jaybhelps you keep track of your money: record what comes in and goes out, set budgets, save towards goals, and ask an assistant about your money. It doesn't move money, connect to your bank to make payments, or hold funds for you.

Not financial advice

The numbers, budgets, suggestions and assistant answers are there to help you understand your own records. They aren't financial, tax or legal advice. Check anything important yourself before you rely on it, and remember the app is only as accurate as what you add to it.

Your account

  • Keep your sign-in safe; you're responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Give accurate details when you sign up.
  • When you share an account or budget together with someone, only invite people you trust.

Your data

What you add is yours. We use it only to run the app for you, as described in our privacy policy. You can change or delete it at any time.

Fair use

  • Use the app for your own money and the people you choose to share with.
  • Don't try to break, overload or get around its security, or access anyone else's data.
  • Don't use it for anything unlawful.

The service

We work to keep Jaybrunning and your data safe, and we keep improving it, so features may change. The app is provided as it is, and we can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for losses that come from relying on it.

Ending

You can stop using Jayb at any time, and reset your account from Settings to delete what you've added. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and its date, and tell you in the app when the change matters to you.
