Jayb: everything in your pocket
Jayb (جیب) is the Urdu word for pocket. What's in your jayb is what you have: the cash in your wallet, the money in your bank and on your phone, what you're owed and what you owe. Managing your jayb means managing all of it.
That's the whole idea behind Jayb. Not just a budget, not just an expense log, but one place for everything in your pocket: what you have, what goes out, what comes in, what you keep for later, and what's with other people. Every part of the app answers one of those.
Jayb works the way money works in Pakistan: rupees first, with lakhs and hazaar understood; budgets that start on payday; Easypaisa, JazzCash and bank app history read from a screenshot; udhaar kept straight; and Jayb AI, which understands Urdu and Roman Urdu as well as English. It's free on the web, on any phone or computer, and Android and iPhone apps are coming soon.
What's in your jayb
What you have
Cash, bank accounts, wallets, cards, savings and investments, in every currency, added up into one net worth.
What goes out
Every expense, from the form, by telling Jayb AI or from a receipt, sorted into categories you can see at a glance.
What comes in
Your salary and other income, with budgets that start on the day you're paid rather than the 1st.
What you keep
Savings goals with the exact amount to put aside each month, and money moved to savings never counted as spending.
What's with others
Udhaar: money you lent or borrowed, with a balance for each person and a polite WhatsApp reminder.
A pocket you share
Shared accounts and family budgets, while each person's own spending stays their own.
Someone who knows your pocket
Jayb AI: talk or type in English or Urdu, and it records, checks and answers from your own numbers.
