Spending reports that tell you what to do next
Jayb is an AI budgeting app and money manager with reports that answer one question: where did the money go? See your spending pace against last period, your spending by category, how each category compares with your usual, and a 12-month trend of income, spending and net. At the start of every month, Jayb's month in review shows how the last month went and what to change next, one tap each.
Try JaybReports for any period
- Monthly, quarterly, half-year, yearly and all time, stepping back through your whole history.
- Spending pace: the running total against the previous period.
- Where it went: a category chart for money out and money in, opening to every category with its amount and share.
- A 12-month trend of income, spending and net.
- Each category against your 6-month average, and the budget for the period.
Month in review
- For the last finished budget month and the five before it.
- Spent against your cap and the month before; income, money put aside and days you kept track.
- How many budgets held, and where the money went against your usual.
- What to change next month: raise a budget that's over, lower one that's barely used, add one for big unbudgeted spending, or carry over what's left.
- A picture to share, with or without the amounts, through your phone's share sheet.
Ask instead of digging
- Ask Jayb AI any question about your spending and get charts, tables and figures.
- Every answer has a sources card that opens the exact transactions in your ledger.
- A Sunday summary of the week, and a reminder on the 1st to look back on last month.
What counts as spending
- Transfers between your own accounts and money put into savings never count as spending.
- Lending and borrowing aren't income or spending either.
- A balance adjustment changes the balance but not your reports or budgets.
- Categories left out of budgets, like Zakat, still show in reports.

Questions
How far back do reports go?
As far as your history does. Choose all time, or step back period by period.
Does it show income too?
Yes. The category chart shows money out and money in, and the 12-month trend shows income, spending and net.
What is month in review?
A look back at your last budget month: spending against your cap, income, savings, which budgets held, and one-tap suggestions for next month.
Can I share my month?
Yes. Month in review makes a picture you can share through your phone, with or without the amounts.
Do transfers and savings show up as spending?
No. Moving money between your own accounts or into savings, and lending or borrowing, are never counted as spending.
