# Check your accounts against your bank's statement

Jayb is an AI budgeting app and money manager that reconciles your accounts against your bank's own record. Send Jayb AI a bank, card or wallet statement as a PDF, a picture, a CSV or an Excel export, or just a screenshot of your Easypaisa, JazzCash or bank app history. It matches it to the right account and shows what's missing, extra, duplicated or different, and exactly why the balance in Jayb isn't the balance in the bank. Then it fixes it, line by line, with your Confirm.

## Any statement, any format

- Bank, credit card and wallet statements as PDFs, pictures, or CSV and Excel exports.
- Screenshots of an app's history, like Easypaisa, JazzCash or your bank's app. Dates without a year are read as the most recent such date.
- A spreadsheet export with a running balance is treated as a statement and reconciled the same way.
- Matched to your account by its number, its name or the bank printed on it.

- What's on the statement but missing from Jayb.
- What's in Jayb but not on the statement.
- Duplicates, and entries where the amount or date is different.
- Exactly why the balance differs, line by line, from the day the account starts counting.

## Fixed in the chat or by tap

- Ask Jayb AI to add what's missing, leave lines out, take the statement's amounts or dates, or remove duplicate copies.
- Every change is on a Confirm card first, so the balance in Jayb ends up matching the bank.
- Or open the statement's review screen and do the same by tap.
- If you'd rather not go line by line, 'Update to actual balance' adds one visible adjustment for the difference, never a silent change.

3. **See the differences**: Missing, extra, duplicated or different, and why the balance is off.

### Which statements can it read?

### Does it change anything without asking?

No. Every fix, whether adding a missing entry, taking the statement's amount or removing a duplicate, is shown on a Confirm card first.

### My screenshot doesn't show the year. Is that a problem?

No. Dates without a year are read as the most recent such date.

### Does Jayb log in to my bank to get the statement?

No. You download the statement or take the screenshot yourself and send it to Jayb AI.

### Can it add a month of spending from a statement?

Yes. Ask it to add what's missing and every missing line goes on a Confirm card, with each one's amount and date from the statement.
